A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR We've seen the passing of another year. For many it's been filled with pain and tears. We've seen our loved ones in their decline. We've had to accept that they won't be fine. Some of us had to say good bye, To a CHILD, and we've all cried. But there have been times in this past year, That certain events have brought us cheer.
(even if it was a thought of our child) There are so many friends that are on the list, And I know there's names I will have missed. But better friends I could not have bought.
(than those at memory-of) And here is just a New Year's thought. If it were possible that a wish could come true, Then this is my New Year's wish for you. My Own Shining Star Linda Drewes Christmas days are busy days And follow one upon the other. But still, my mind keeps wandering, And the tears I cannot smother. I often think of days gone by, Of Christmases that have past. Sometimes I can't remember, son That we have shared our last.
The packages are gaily wrapped, The Christmas cards are posted. The tree is up, the tinsel strung, The chestnuts have been roasted.
And once again I see you, my son, But I know that you're not too far. For there you are atop my tree, My own, my shining star!
And as the darkness settles in And the lights again are lit, My mind, at last, is quite content I see you from wherever I sit....

i was just sitting here thinking about ya tonight.this is the first time iv'e been on here.i gess this is just my way of dealing with things.hell!!! my dad's been gone over 10 years and i haven't even been to his grave not once.just my way i gess.i know you understand.this right here is a lot for me.ya know;;;;;;; i can't help wondering what you would be doing right now if you were here.you were supose to go up north with me before you left us,it would have been a real dear slaying week end.but i forgive ya.we love and miss ya, all of us have our own way of deeling with things.toney and bj seem like they are doing good and headed in the right direction,but brandon? i don't know;;;;;;;; me and mom are worried about him.he's been doing good these last few day's.hope he stay's that way.you were a big infuence on him.if it's true!! about what they say in the after life that someone can influence someone we wish you would help your li'll brother and send him in the right direction some how before it's to late.he could use some of your guidence.so if you would, be his gardian angel for a while and do what ya do best.love ya miss ya DAD
